The Foundation Mikael Ljungberg Memorial Fund was started soon after Mikael Ljungberg passed away at the end of 2004. Besides his family, several friends and profiles in sports are driving forces in the Foundation and active on the board.
The Foundation’s money arrives as donations from private individuals, from various events and from the sale of the book ”Mjuka drömmar – hårda mål” [Soft Dreams – Hard Targets] about the life of Mikael Ljungberg, written by Ulf Jörnvik and Mikael Ljungberg himself. The book can be ordered here (all proceeds, without reduction, go to the Foundation).
Anyone who wishes to contribute is welcome to do so. Make your donation to the Foundation’s bank giro account, 700-6133. We are very grateful for your gift, which will be used to encourage athletes and others within the world of sports to act in the spirit of Mikael Ljungberg.
